Few bakeries left in Singapore that still produce our fresh lotus paste by hand using 100% pure lotus seeds with no preservatives added, and these fill mooncakes that are formed in the same traditional wooden moulds used at the original Sago Street store in Chinatown more than 80 years ago. Today, you can still bring home our mooncakes in stringed brown paper bags, just as our forefathers did in pre-war Singapore. Tai Chong Kok is also famed for our traditional Chinese wedding cakes, soft flour cakes and other Cantonese confections. Our products are handmade and baked daily in Singapore
